Support an adult

When you volunteer in our Caring Connections Program, you’ll spend one hour a week developing a one-on-one supportive relationship with a senior or person with a disability. Typical activities include visiting, picking up groceries, reading mail, or going for a walk.

VIA partners with Kids Hope USA to bring one-on-one mentoring to children at two local public schools. As a trained volunteer mentor, you’ll spend one hour each week during the school day with a student building a meaningful relationship.

There are people in our neighborhoods looking for connection and support. VIA helps churches and community groups sharpen their neighboring skills through engaging workshops and neighboring initiatives. Get in touch with us to learn more about bringing a neighboring workshop to your community.
